Design Coordinator

We’re looking for a Design Coordinator to support our ongoing projects by ensuring effective coordination and execution of design activities. The role involves organizing design documentation, attending coordination meetings, following up on design progress, and ensuring consistency and compliance across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise between design teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and understanding of project requirements.
• Organize and manage design documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the project.
• Facilitate design meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Communicate in meetings with international firms to ensure alignment on project objectives, design specifications, and timelines.
• Ensure design consistency across all phases, from concept to final execution.
• Review design submissions for compliance with client specifications, local codes, and project standards.
• Track design progress and ensure that design milestones are met on time.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues that may arise during the design or construction phases.
• Model designs using BIM software to create detailed and accurate 3D models for the project.
• Update and refine BIM models based on design revisions, feedback, and project changes.
• Rectify comments and revisions in the BIM models as provided by the project team, ensuring the designs remain accurate and aligned with the latest specifications.
• Coordinate BIM models with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure all design elements are integrated seamlessly.
• Use BIM software such as Navisworks to identify and resolve clashes during the design and coordination phase.
• Monitor design-related costs to ensure adherence to the project budget.
• Coordinate design schedules to ensure timely delivery and prevent delays in project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Civil Engineering/Architecture or any equivalent.
• Experience and technical knowledge in Design coordinating for fit-out projects.
• Demonstrate leadership potential and good client relationship management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management.
