IMG Worlds of Adventure will be the largest temperature controlled indoor themed entertainment destination in the world, covering an area in excess of 1.5 million square feet.

With the capacity to welcome more than 20,000 guests a day, the destination will feature a unique array of adrenaline-pumping roller coasters, thrill rides, and spine-tingling attractions based on popular Cartoon Network characters, iconic MARVEL Super Heroes and hair-raising dinosaurs.

Additionally, the destination will be home to a number of world-firsts, a variety of themed retail stores, exclusive dining venues, and a 12-screen state-of-the-art cinema.

Your Epic Opportunity

IMG Worlds of Adventure are looking for a dynamic and focused Retail Category Buyer to provide support to the Retail Department to ensure a comprehensive service is delivered to the business and key deliverables are achieved.

The Highlights

  • Analyze historical data & current trends to identify current & future risks & opportunities and recommend buying plans to the Head of Buying and Retail Operations Manager
  • Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales / inventories on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to drive sales, bottom-line profitability and inventory targets to meet or exceed financial goals.
  • Create clear, comprehensive product plans to ensure profitability by maintaining & building consumer focused brand lines.
  • Support all product promotional activities in the stores and proactively work with the Training Department to ensure up-to-date product training is delivered to the stores.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales turnover and customer trends per product to arrive at decision to maintain, liquidate or dispose-off the stock, and-or continue/discontinue the product line.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Operations to ensure maximum profitability and productivity of investment made through effective implementation of marketing campaign, visual merchandising standards and operation SOPs.
  • Track and evaluate brand sales performance, research market trends and competitor activities.

Things you need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Buying and Merchandising / Fashion Technology / Fashion Design / Sport Management
  • Minimum 2 years of Buying experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Good Knowledge in Buying and Merchandising Systems
  • Proficient in MS Office programs; MS Excel in specific
  • Service quality and excellence
  • Excellent communication & Analytical skills.
